Safety Testing

The main purpose of this program is to verify that all medical equipment meets electrical safety requirements as regulated by OSHA and the Texas Department of Health. This is done in order to help ensure patient safety.

All analyzers used are in compliance with both OSHA and state regulatory agencies, and are calibrated on an annual basis. Defibrillators and EKGs are tested fully and settings are checked to ensure that they meet manufacturer specifications.

We also have the capability to include calibration of scales and blood pressure units with these electrical safety checks.
